On the (10th November) 1944 my Great Uncle paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we all enjoy. That day he was shot down en route to a raid over France. He was a pilot officer in 97 Squadron in the RAF. Today I am remembering him for his courage and bravery.
A few weekends back I climbed up the highest mountain in England. It was a fun hike. Here are some pictures from the adventure.. Only Snowden (highest mountain in Wales) and Ben Nevis (highest mountain in Scotland) to go now of the highest mountains in the UK. Its one more thing thats ticked off the bucket list!
