On the (10th November) 1944 my Great Uncle paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we all enjoy. That day he was shot down en route to a raid over France. He was a pilot officer in 97 Squadron in the RAF. Today I am remembering him for his courage and bravery.

Yesterday I visited the marine port city of Plymouth. The Hoe area was lovely.
An afternoon meal and movie time!
I went to a lovely restaurant for lunch today with a friend. It was in an old school building with lots of character. It was built in the mid 17th century.. The food was yummy too.


It was so good to hear some good jazz music whist walking to the cinema!

Skyfall was so so good.I’m not usually into Bond films but I loved this one!
