how others on the journey inspire

Last week I stumbled upon a blog by a young woman named Stari.. Which can be viewed here http://iwontbewanting.blogspot.co.uk/

Her courage and honesty in the face of adversity really inspired me and helped me to put a lot of things into perspective.

Sadly Stari passed away earlier this week. I love how even in her trials she found the strength to inspire and encourage others.

I stumbled upon this quote today and it pretty much made my day. It sums up my attitude to life about the importance of remembering all that we have and how life is so precious. Sunset taken by me back in May in North Devon, UK.

A sense of an ending..

Yesterday I went on my last bike ride to Fremington Quay. Its a short ride from where I live, along the cycle trail. This next month is going to be full of many little endings.. Those moments where I’m like “Wow this is the last time I get to do this”.

It feels strange knowing I’ve travelled this route for the last time.

Watching the sunset.

And to keep making memories.. πŸ™‚ After all there are more pages of the journey to write..

I’m so thankful for the journey so far and looking forward to what the future holds.

Wanderings

Scatterings of the heart
Being woven into something new
Jumping into the unknown
Writing new pages of the story

Knowing that I am His

No matter what..

Learning to walk humbly
along the path that is unwinding
straight in front of me

And to not look back
but keep moving forwards…

Its not how fast you travel that is important
It’s important that you keep moving.

This last week I had the pleasure of spending a week in Scotland skiing at Glenshee Ski Centre with my dad. It was awesome and so good to get to go alpine skiing again.
