Some moments are like mountains. When we’ve got to climb through some hard times.
Often travel difficult roads
That may be long journeys
or short ones.
But when we reach the top
What was once before us
becomes clearer.
Towards a new understanding
A realisation that
We are so much stronger than we think we are.
And that by looking back
How He has carried us through
the toughest of times
And never left
and He never will.

Wanderings
Through paths both near and far
towards adventures yet it be explored.
Stood still
if only for a little while.
Encapsulating [time] as though it were
little rain droplets..
Caught for that moment
as though they would last forever
But fade away they must.
As nothing really lasts forever: as time moves forward…
it does not wait for people to catch up.
But can be found..
even of only through memory…
like whispers through the wind.

I stumbled upon this quote today and it pretty much made my day. It sums up my attitude to life about the importance of remembering all that we have and how life is so precious. Sunset taken by me back in May in North Devon, UK.
Stepping forward
Along silent edges
A moment ending into something new
Endings teach me about the blessing
of new beginnings
Not taking things for granted
but being grateful for where I am now
Small steps along the journey
I smile thinking of the little things
Encountered along the way
Like looking at the night sky as though

Yesterday I went on my last bike ride to Fremington Quay. Its a short ride from where I live, along the cycle trail. This next month is going to be full of many little endings.. Those moments where I’m like “Wow this is the last time I get to do this”.
It feels strange knowing I’ve travelled this route for the last time.

I’m so thankful for the journey so far and looking forward to what the future holds.
I’ve been busy this week finishing assignments. So it was a lovely treat this evening to head out on my bike along the cycle trail to take some sunset pictures.
