Wednesday Adventures

A week ago we went on a little adventure by boat train and car. It was a Noah and Grandma and Auntie day. We all had so much fun. Sometimes little adventures not far from home are the best kind.

Early mornings and branches

Early mornings and branches.

Breathing in ordinary moments.

Crisp air fills my lungs and frost crackles underfoot.

Looking up at silhouettes in the sky.

Shadowed by the night sky.

Soon to be flooded in daylight

Thursday scribbles

Hope Over Fear

Reminding myself that amidst uncertainty

I can still choose hope over not knowing what’s next

Hope over fear

Hope over shame

Hope over negativity

Hope amidst challenges

That it’s light that dispels the darkness

Light is life giving

It’s where the magic happens

and new ideas

become more than just dreams

Where the sparks of imagination fly

and old patterns become new paths

Interwoven into who we are

Autumn Fires

Riding home
through puddles

Mornings with
a crispness in the air
Smelling like autumn
already

Leaves leaving patterns
like little tree paths
on the ground
Old houses
Greet me with a
welcoming smile

All the cracks
like hidden pathways
Transport me to
times gone by

The smell of wood fires
takes me back
To childhood evenings
Roasting chestnuts
in the embers

Watching Dad raking
fallen leaves
All the rustling
reminds me of
Hedgehogs

And autumn walks in the woods
Watching squirrels chase
Each other from branch
to branch

Oh the delights of autumn
When the trees put on
their best show

The best symphony
of many colours
ochre reds, auburn
golden sunbeams

because spring is here

and I haven’t posted in so long..
Today looked like this..
Some snapshots of a wonderful day off spent with my sister, nephew, Dad, Gran and Auntie.

Road trips to the Lake District

One of my favourite views..

Family walks

Wildflowers

Ewe and her baba.

For me days out like this are so refreshing. I loved capturing some little moments as spring begins.

I never tire of spending time here.

Please don’t loose your wonder

Please don’t loose your wonderOf the small

But beautiful moments
And remember that you are His

And He is yours

Who conquered the grave

for you
And set the stars in the sky

Just because

And brought heaven down to earth
Scattered wildflowers in meadows

To wander through

And to enjoy

The butterflies dancing amongst

in the late evening light
