Above the sea
So high
Looking down
So awe inspiring
As though seeing an eagles view of
the earth.
Seeing such beauty
From heavenly heights.
So refreshing to be
excited about returning home
Such a wonderful feeling.
Which hasn’t been there on previous
adventures.
Happiness at seeing God’s county
from the air.
Always in wonder at things so small
and massive at the
same time.
Rivers flowing towards the sea
Inland and life giving.

This was written after a short trip to the Netherlands this past weekend. The captain of the aircraft also provided an audio commentary as we approached the Yorkshire coast line and the Humber Estuary which was very amusing and kind of inspired this poem.
